Infrinity Founder & Chief Technology Officer Joins GetJar as new VP of Discovery Technologies

Again a really tasty name ! After the Cupcake(1.5), Donut (1.6), Eclair (2.1), Froyo (2.2), Gingerbread (2.3) and Honeycomb (3.0) it seems that the name of the next Android version will aslo get a sweet name : Ice Cream Sandwich.
Actually, there’s no doubt about it since this information comes from Google itself.

Finding the number of a company or a person in Belgium has never been that easy

Brussels, December 6th 2010: European Directory Assistance (EDA), Belgium’s specialist in directory enquiries & directories, reachable by phone through the shortcodes 12-12 (in Flemish), 13-13 (in French) and 14-14 (in English) or online via www.de1212.be, www.le1313.be and www.1414.be, now offers its services through a mobile application developed specifically for Androïd smartphones.

The version 1 of the 12-12, 13-13 & 14-14 app allows the user to find the details of persons, public institutions, companies, sole traders and professionals all over Belgium. Also reverse lookups (finding the details of a subscriber via his/her telephone number) are available. Furthermore, the application is making optimal use of functions inherent to smartphones, such as the option to immediately call the found number, save it in the phone’s directory, or display the map corresponding to the found address. Version 2 of the 12-12, 13-13 & 14-14 app, available as from the beginning of 2011, will allow the user to make enquiries based on where he/she is at a certain moment, using the built-in GPS of the smartphone.
